Betty Jayne, a native of Nevada, is a member of the the Association of Sewing and Design Professionals aka Professional Association of Custom Clothiers, and has many years of education, business and teaching experience in clothing construction and design. Her education includes a B.A. and M.A. from San Jose State University, studies at the University of Nevada, and post graduate studies at Rutgers University where she also taught. Betty Jayne did her Masters Thesis in clothing selection and alteration techniques for Post-Mastectomy Women.

Betty Jayne has worked with Jr. Miss, Miss and Mrs. Nevada pageants  -  Clothing selection and alterations for the candidates for the last decade and has received a National Award from Coats and Clarks for Clothing Achievement. She has been recognized by numerous professional organizations and has received a Chamber of Commerce award for Women in Business.

Her specialties include adaptations of clothing for the disabled and post-mastectomy and/or implant patients.

Betty Jayne is an alumni from Phi Upsilon Omicron a National Honor Society in Family and Consumer Sciences.
